Far too often we find ourselves in leadership making reactionary decisions based on best information in the moment, available resources, timing and who can be involved. For centuries the church has made decisions based on the discerning practice of listening prayer, and seeking the Lord for what He was leading the church to do. There may arise seasons for discernment and decision making that would benefit from the insight and guidance of an objective third party who can come alongside the local church or organization to help them engage in a discernment process seeking God for his direction and leading.
